Bookshare March Madness 2021

The Bookshare team is incredibly excited to announce Bookshare’s first ever March Madness Book Bracket!

Sixteen books from four genres will compete against one another to see which book reigns supreme as Bookshare’s favorite.

Starting Monday, March 8, you can vote in our Twitter polls for your favorite books each week throughout the month. Here is the process each week:

  • Monday, 9:00 am PT – polling opens
  • Friday, 9:00 am PT – polling closes
  • Friday, 12:00 pm PT – announce winners from each round
  • April 1 – announce grand champion winner

Make sure to follow us on Twitter so you don’t miss out on the chance to vote for your favorites and see all polls using the #BKSMarchMadness hashtag on Twitter.

The first round starts with books from the same genre pitted against each other. The winners will go on to compete against other genres each week until we crown our 2021 Bookshare March Madness Champion on April 1. Congratulations to our week one winners! The victors from the first round will now compete against their fellow genre finalists in order to secure a spot in our Final Four.

Championship

It’s time to announce the finalists who will be competing in the Championship round of Bookshare’s 2021 March Madness! The books are: 

  • Between the World and Me by Ta-Nehisi Coates (non-fiction) 
  • Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng (fiction) 

Who will claim the title Bookshare March Madness Champion for 2021? The final round of voting begins Monday, March 29th at 9:00 am PT. Make sure to cast your votes and tune in Thursday, April 1st for the announcement of our Grand Champion.
