Welcome back to the Bookshare Book Club! Each month, Bookshare staff will choose a book for members to read before hosting a discussion near the end of the month. The conversation will take place through a Zoom webinar. While we have created this club with adult Bookshare members in mind, everyone is welcome to join, including non-Bookshare members.
June’s book will be The Midnight Library by Matt Haig. Alternate realities take on a new form at the Midnight Library. Every potential life changing decision one could make is recorded in a different book, creating an infinite collection of the life one person could have had. Nora Seed, facing a crossroads in life, takes to the Midnight Library to learn what makes life worth living.
The Midnight Library is just one of the twenty engaging books in the summer reading list for adults that is part of the Bookshare #CatchUpTogether Summer Read-a-thon.
The Zoom webinar discussion for The Midnight Library will take place on Thursday, June 24th at 5:00 pm PT. Register here.
Thanks to all of the enthusiastic bookworms who have been participating in the Bookshare Book Club. Newcomers and veterans alike are welcome to join the conversation and the community.
